The view from my kitchen window

This was such a breathtaking sunrise - they were even talking about it on our local radio morning show.

I actually missed the best part - the whole sky, flushed with red, and my batteries ran out!!!

Beautiful sunrises are worthy "news" in PEI - and of course "missing cats and dogs". One of the many reasons I love to live here.

The little things...

It's funny how little things can brighten your day. Take this mug for example. 49 cents at Value Village.

But on a cold, grey winter morning it's amazing how the warm, blue shades and the cheerful white and orange daisies brighten my day...

not to mention my steaming hot morning coffee or my wonderful new mug warmer! No more getting up to reheat my cup in the microwave. Thanks wrbd :)
